It is also something that isn’t available on all the other services. This is great if you accidentally edited something out of a document and need to retrieve it. IDrive also allows users to see older versions of backed up files. Once you establish a schedule for backup, you can completely forget about doing this task. It certainly takes the pain out of backing up files (I’m looking at you, OneDrive). This is so incredibly convenient and I can’t understand why it isn’t a standard feature on all cloud backup services. For one, you can schedule backups so that they take place automatically. Then there are features that surprised me with iDrive. From there, users can select specific files/folders or simply click the Start Backup Immediately button to sync everything at once. iDrive will display all of your major folders (Documents, Photos, Videos, etc.) as well as the total storage it will take to back up the entire folder. From there you download the client and backup your files. IDrive does pretty much what you would expect it to, as far as cloud storage goes. You simply create an account and get an automatic free membership with 5 GB of storage.
